The Treatment Team Approach
Collaboration with a patient's treatment team is the gold standard in eating disorder treatment.
With the patient's written permission, we collaborate closely with other providers (Pediatricians, General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Registered Dietitians, etc.) to ensure each patient's safety and progress.
Consultation & Supervision
Christine provides clinical supervision to therapists who are pursuing their CEDS credential, as well as to licensed clinicians who wish to better understand the specifics of providing quality treatment to people with eating disorders.
In addition, she provides shorter-term consultation to professionals who have specific questions about available resources, differential diagnosis, and other issues related to providing care to their current patients.
Pre-licensed professionals and students may also seek supervision with Christine to explore general topics related to providing therapy such as practice and theory, issues related to countertransference and use of self, professional development, and applying treatment modalities. She is SIFI certified and has experience providing supervision to graduate and undergraduate students from NYU, Columbia, Dominican College, Rutgers, Ramapo College, and Fordham University.
For Outreach Representatives
We pride ourselves on developing close professional relationships with hospitals and treatment centers nationwide. We welcome the opportunity to meet you and learn about your programs so that we may provide up to date information to families and individuals who are seeking a higher level of care for eating disorder, substance abuse, and mental health treatment.
When we provide a referral or recommendation for a specific treatment center or therapeutic program, it is imperative that we understand the program's approach, philosophy and policies, as well as logistics such as the populations and insurances accepted, so that we can make the best possible recommendation. We welcome the opportunity to visit your program so that we may see it firsthand.
