Current Openings:
Eating Disorder Therapist
Provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, meal support and case management to teens and adults with eating disorders and related conditions.
Requirements:
NY State licensed LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or Psychologist
At least 1 year experience working in an eating disorder-specific IOP/PHP, Residential or Inpatient program REQUIRED. Experience waived for candidates with IAEDP CEDS certification/outpatient ED experience.
Liaison to the Orthodox Jewish Community
Provide outreach, presentations, and resources to families, individuals, and professionals within the Orthodox community. Provide training and advisement to staff therapists on providing culturally-competent care.
Requirements:
BA in psychology, BSW or MSW preferred
Knowledge of eating disorders and related conditions
Intimate familiarity with Jewish laws and cultural norms
Comfort with public speaking, telephone outreach, and networking
