Common Questions
What are your fees? Do you accept insurance?
You can find answers to questions about fees & insurance here.
I don't have an eating disorder. Can I still come to you for therapy?
Yes, absolutely. We work with children, teens, and adults who do not have an eating disorder at all. Some people we work with have had an eating disorder, but it is not active or not their primary concern.
Do you only work with females?
We work with all genders. We are inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming.
Do you use AI to assist with documentation? Will AI be listening in on my session?
No, absoutely not. We understand that some therapists may use AI as a tool to assist them with note taking. We do not do this, and we never will.
How Do I know which of your therapists to choose?
Before you schedule, we'll ask you about what you're going through, as well as your preferences and scheduling needs. We will take all of this into account and help match you with the therapist who will be the best fit for you. You can also take a look at our therapists' bios to see if something resonates with you. If you would like to request a specific therapist, just let us know.
Where is Christine Knorr Psychotherapy Associates Located?
Our office is located at 28 New Hempstead Rd. in New City, NY. If you would prefer to be seen in person, you can come to our office.
